Pre-dawn light casts the maroon hue over Maroon and Pyramid Peaks. The long fifteen second exposure did cost some details in the reflections but was needed at this level of light.

When you're off the map and off the grid, little signs and arrows are especially important for navigation. In this case, a small sign pointing us to our designated route had been plastered with various stickers, causing me to miss a crucial turn.
